I’m beginning to regain consciousness. Almost. So I need to touch base with the Base.
Anyhoo, I’m planning on doing little demos on liquid clay in silicone sugar molds that Amy K. showed us at Synergy4. Also a way of putting alcohol ink onto clay a la Patti Underwood using a tile and plastic wrap. I’ll bring the alcohol inks. If you want to play, bring some white clay and a small tile or something that a piece of clay can sit on overnight.
Is there anything that anyone would like to see? Any requests? I’m game. Also, is there anything that one of you would like to demo?
Please contact me so I can make the semblance of a schedule.
I’ll be leading a make & take for this business-card sized blade book. The sample uses the liquid clay technique that Ellen is demoing. I’ve turned it into a bit of a shabby-chic blade book.
I’ll provide the magnets, rings, a template, flat pans for baking, glue, and a blade. You provide clay to create the covers and any surface treatment or decoration you want to have.
