Chilly Clay Retreat Schedule Update

Plans for the 2022 Chilly Clay Retreat are moving forward! We’ve lined up three guest artists for extended demos and a some of our members will be joining in the demo fun as well.

Tentative Schedule

Saturday

AM Demo: Ann Duncan Hlavach – Mokume Gane In Situ

• Oven safe item to cover (spice jar, votive, etc.)
• 3-4 colors of polymer clay
• texture making tools and stamps
• sharp blades – one stiff, one flexible

PM Demo: Ellen Bellenot – Shards Bookmark

• Cut-offs from AM demo or other scraps from canes and the like
• Foils (optional)
• Waxed linen or hemp cord
• Shape cutters
• Needle Tool
• Shape cutters

PM Demo: Barbara Forbes-Lyons – Using Silhouette Studio and Cameo to create stencils

Sunday

AM Demo: Nikolina Otržan – Title TBA

• Kato Polyclay (preferred)
• Cold enamels (2 or 3 colors- efcolor sampler via Amazon or via Etsy)

PM Demo: Laurie Mika – Studio Tour, Clay Quilts Demo
