June Polymer Clay Meeting: What’s a Skinner and How do You Blend One?
Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 6 at 1 PM at the Southwood Welcome Home Center (just east of Four Oaks Blvd. on Merchant’s Row in Southwood Town Center. It’s the large storefront just west of Subway).
We’ll demo Skinner blends and some of the many ways to create and use them. Bring White and Black clay, along with 2-4 colors to ‘play’ along.
Please remember to bring your dues if you’ve not paid already – $15 per year. Benefits include participating in discounted supply purchases, ability to check out books from our (newly formed) library, discounts on classes and events that we host locally.
This month we’ll finalize plans for the June 10 trip to Jacksonville for the Rings & Things Traveling Bead Show. Be prepared – sign up for e-mail coupons from Hobby Lobby (we’ll be visiting Hobby Lobby before we go to the bead show).
If you need to borrow a pasta machine or basic tools, please let me know by Friday, June 4.
