November 2013 Meeting – Hola Ombré!
OMBRÉ : Having colors or tones that shade into each other —used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark
Join TPCAG member Cindy Suhweir as she takes the group through a color mixing journey into the world of ombré polymer. Participants will take home a necklace and earrings perfect for a holiday gift.
Supplies List
- 4 to 6 ounces of a dark colored polymer clay (purple, dark green, dark blue, garnet. no metallic)
- 4 to 6 ounces of white clay
- Stringing cord (2mm leather cord shown in sample)
- Regular polymer supplies and basic kit including a needle tool for making holes
Wire for the earrings will be supplied.
Meeting Details
- When: Saturday, November 2
- Monthly Meeting: 1 PM until 4 PM (sharp!)
- Where: Lafayette Arts & Craft Center
- Please bring Library items to be checked in so others may take advantage of our Library.
