Polymer Clay Art on Display, Upcoming Meetings and Classes
Next Meeting is Saturday, November 7
As per usual, Lafayette Arts & Crafts Center, 11:45 AM until 4 PM.
Monthly Meeting Theme
Open Clay Day – bring your own projects to work on and items for show & tell.
Don’t LEAF it Alone Challenge
Bring back the item(s) you make with the canes shared at the October meeting. We’ll have a little contest to find out who we think used the canes to the best advantage. There may even be a prize for the winner!
Opportunity to Meet on November 8
As advertised in previous newsletters, the local Florida Goldsmiths chapter is having a workshop weekend November 7 and 8 at Lemoyne. One of the classes has been canceled on Sunday, November and our guild is invited to use the space to have an additional clay day this month. We would be able to use the space all day – from 9 AM to 4 PM.
There would be a nominal $5 per person collected to offset the cost of the facility rental. We could go out for lunch or potluck the meal between us all.
If you are interested in meeting on Sunday, please let Barbara know by Monday, November 2 so she can make arrangements with FSG.
