Silk Screening on Polymer Clay Class in Tallahassee

The Tallahassee Polymer Clay Art Guild is pleased to bring polymer clay, fiber, and basket artist Karen Woods to Tallahassee for a class on Saturday, November 20, 2010. The class is Silk Screening on Polymer Clay.  This is a versatile technique that can also be used on fabric and metal (enameling, etching with a resist).

A minimum of 7 students are needed, there is no maximum cut-off (within reason!  ;-) ). The class will be held at the Lafayette Park Arts & Crafts Center from 10 AM – 4 PM (approx)

Update (11/10/2010): Polyform Products (makers of Premo! and Sculpey polymer clay) has generously supplied clay for the class. You may bring your own from home or use the supplied colors.

There are many hotels in the area, for all budgets. Please contact me with any questions.
The class fee will be $75 and includes:

  • a dessert party on Friday night, November 19*
  • lunch, snacks on Saturday
  • learning to make silk screens easily with a light bulb and water using one of the instructor’s transparencies (over 100 available)
