March Meeting Challenge: En Plein Air
The Spring 2015 Pantone Color Palette is titled En Plein Air, which is a French term for painting out in the open air. This palette includes colors like aquamarine, scuba blue, tangerine, and the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, marsala.

For our March meeting challenge, pick 2 or more colors from the Spring 2015 palette, plus two neutrals of your choice, and create a cane or Skinner blend. This gives you a chance to enhance your color mixing skills as well as practice other polymer techniques. Several online bloggers and sellers have Pantone Color Mix recipes for polymer as well.

Bring your completed item to the meeting, and we’ll share the results amongst ourselves and create beads using combinations from each others’ offerings. Your final item(s) should use 6-8 ounces of clay so there is enough to share. We’ll take one or two beads from everyone’s final projects to send to Beads of Courage.
