Monthly Meeting this Saturday, June 6
As per usual, Lafayette Arts & Crafts Center, Noon until 4 PM.
This will be an open clay day, so bring anything you want to work on, items for show & tell, etc.
Barb has a funeral and another event to attend on Saturday, so if you are able to ‘take charge’ of the meeting, please email.
Gratitude
Thank you to Bettye, Cindy, Hui, Lizette and Nancy for assisting with our class this past weekend at Lafayette. We had over 20 students of all ages and they had a great time making beetles, covering tiny bottles, and for the grown-ups, resin-filled pendants.
No Meeting in July
July’s meeting falls on Independence Day, so we will not be meeting in July.
August 1 Meeting
We need someone to lead a demo / mini-class for August. Please email Barb if you are interested and provide the topic and any needed supplies.
Next Class at Lafayette
Our next class at Lafayette will be in August (either 8 or 15) and we’ll be making polymer-covered pens. We will provide pens and the clay. We need a couple of samples for the display case, so if you have any (or can make one), please get it to Barb in early July.
