October Meeting
Our meeting in October will take place on Sunday, October 7 at 1 PM. Ellen will lead us in a Autumn-themed mini class making polymer acorn charms. These can be made small enough to use as earrings or charm bracelet components or large enough to serve as a pendant. We’ll announce the supply list closer to the meeting date.
Feedback Wanted
In October 2010 we moved our meetings from the Southwood Welcome Center to Michaels Arts & Crafts. We hoped that putting our meetings in a more public venue would lead to increased interest in the Guild. Unfortunately, attendance has been declining, although we do still have a core group that attends regularly.
Many members feel having access to the Guild is a benefit to the community but we do need to determine where do we go from here (literally and figuratively). We’ve come up with a brief survey for members and interested parties. Please take a moment to visit the survey page and provide us with needed feedback. Please be honest – you do not need to provide your name or email address unless you want to!
