August Origami & Metals on the Mountain
Our next meeting is taking place on Saturday, August 1. On site setup starts at 9:30 AM, Zoom Opens at 1030, and Demo is at 11. Bring your lunch, cold drink and coffee cup if you will be partaking in our complimentary coffee service.

Origami Paper and Foils on Polymer
Cindy will show us some innovative ways to use origami paper with polymer clay that will extend what you can do with both media.
Materials List
- origami paper or other thin, flexible paper with or without texture
- As you can see in the examples, Cindy used a printed origami paper, not a solid color
- foils or metal leaf
- translucent liquid polymer clay
- triangle cosmetic sponges and.or soft bristle brushes
- paper punches
- optional : wire, headpins, beads, jump rings, cording or earring findings
- round nose pliers, chain nose pliers (narrow), flush cut wire cutters
- Basic clay kit with tools
BONUS
Barb will give a refresher lesson on wrapped loops and cold connections like jump rings and wire. Here’s an old class she used to teach with some helpful information.
