December 2013 Meeting – Air Filled Beads
When Saturday, December 7, 1 PM until 4 PM (sharp!)
Where Lafayette Arts & Craft Center
Project/Demo As a group, we will work through Page’s Creations Air-filled Beads Tutorial.
Bring your basic clay kit including clay, canes or alcohol inks to decorate bead, round or square cutters (large and small).
Please bring Library items to be checked in so others may take advantage of our Library.
Volunteers Needed for Ornaments Class
We will be donating our time teaching an ornaments class on Saturday, December 14 from 1-330 PM. Last year we had about 25 students and we are expecting much the same this year. We need members to volunteer to assist the students making their ornaments, running the ovens, helping with finishing (tying ribbons, etc.). Please RSVP to Barbara.
Looking Ahead to February
We are considering turning our annual Clay Day & Chili Lunch into a two-day event if we can secure an appropriate location. This would mean charging a nominal fee to cover rent and lunch for the second day of the event. First day lunch would still be potluck with Barbara contributing chili. Current estimate would be $10-15 per person. Dates of the event would be February 1 & 2, 2014. Vote using the poll on our site.
