Summer Meetings and Guest Teacher Opportunity
June 2011 Meeting
Our June meeting will be at 1 PM on Sunday, June 5 at Michaels on Governor’s Square Boulevard. We meet in the classroom and if you want a cold (or hot) drink during our gathering, you’ll need to bring one with you. This will be an Open Clay Day – bring projects to work on, request a demo or help with a technique. Barbara will be out of town that day, but the show will go on!
July 2011 Meeting
Due to the Independence Day Holiday and the upcoming International Polymer Clay Retreat, we will not meet in July.
Guest Teacher Opportunity
Dayle Doroshow, an internationally known polymer and mixed media artist, contacted our guild about teaching in Tallahassee in 2012. We have tentatively reserved President’s Day Weekend (Feb 17-20) for Dayle to teach one 2-day and another 1-day workshop in Tallahassee. At least one class will be jewelry / bead oriented. The workshop fees will include lunch and snacks. Prices and class descriptions will follow, but we wanted to let everyone know about the date as soon as we could.
