Ron Lehocky's Easy Peasy Extruder Cane Hearts
|

Monthly Meeting Saturday, August 1

As per usual, Lafayette Arts & Crafts Center, Noon until 4 PM.

August Topic: Extrusion Magic with Ellen & Lizette

Use your clay extruder to make ghost canes (transparent background canes with opaque design) and Lizette will demo Ron Lehocky’s Easy Peasey Extruder Cane Technique, which has been featured on Polymer Clay Daily and PolymerCAFE magazine. You can download a PDF explanation at the Polymer Clay Daily site.

What to Bring

Translucent clay, black or white clay, old canes or skinner blends; clay extruder with discs and coring discs if you have them. There will be some to use at the meeting, so don’t despair if you don’t have coring discs.

September Meeting

Since the first Saturday falls on Labor Day Weekend, we will not meet on that day. If there is interest, we can meet on the second Saturday (September 12). Please take the poll on the website so we know if there is enough interest to have a meeting.

Next Class at Lafayette

Our next class at Lafayette will be September 19 and we’ll be making polymer-covered pens. We will provide pens and the clay. Watch this space for a call for volunteers.
