If you’d like to antique your finished ‘ivory’ items, please bring some heavy body acrylic paint in raw sienna or burnt umber. Dark brown shoe polish also works well.
Please remember to bring your semi-annual dues, too. See the information below.
Lafayette Arts & Crafts Center Rental Update
Barbara spoke with the interim director and we are welcome to continue meeting there. We will pay rent every other month, and volunteer to teach project-based classes on opposite months to cover rent.
We are working out details on supplies for classes.
Classes @ Lafayette
We need volunteers to plan and teach the following classes. Please contact Barbara if you are available.
- October – Halloween or Fall Themed family-friendly project. Class length: 2 hours.
- December – Ornaments! We will hold two, 2-hour sessions. Each student will be limited to 3 ornaments. We will provide holiday cookie cutters, glitters, etc. Multiple volunteers are needed as this class is extremely popular.
- February – Heart or Spring Themed project
- April
- June
- August – Back to School project? Covered pen?
