Laura Schiller – Saturday, September 5

Laura will be demonstrating her take on the fiber-based technique of soutache embroidery. This can be used for jewelry, mixed media, and so much more.
Supplies & Links
- Polymer Clay silk screens of your choice
- Optional – 4×6″ photo album to store stencils
- Liquitex acrylic paints (black, white, gold, and silver)
- Folk art acrylic paints- your choice (?)
- One plastic container with water
- Toothbrush
- Old Credit card/hard plastic card
- Colored clays/scrap clay
- Glass pearls – 4 mm and/or 6 mm
- Superglue
- E – 6000 adhesive
- Needle and thread
- Seed beads
- Pointed back glass rhinestones
- Glass rhinestone pieces
- Diamond art drills (aka diamond art gems)
- Diamond art stylus (at least 2)

Alice Stroppel – Sunday, September 6
Alice will lead us on a romp through Skinner blends, extrusions, and more as we create a wall pocket or weed pot (vase). Lots of room for interpretation and whimsy!
Supplies
- Skinner blend sheets, four different colors. Premo is used for this project
- 1 oz black polymer clay
- 6 x 6 or larger baking tile or glass
- Baking paper to fit tile
- Paper towel roll or tp roll
- Knitting needle size 6. Brand Boye – optional – any stiff pointed object will do.
- One sheet of card stock or stiff paper like an index card
- Clay Extruder, discs
- Tape
- Small round cutter – 10mm
- Etch N Pearl by Sculpey- optional
