Meet the Beetles!
Not an English Invasion, but scarabs, a diverse order of insects and a recognizable symbol of Ancient Egypt.

For our April 1 meeting, Ellen will be doing a demo on how to make these attractive sculpted beetles make great pendants or beads.

Supplies
Bring some black clay, mica powders (eye shadows you no longer like work great, too), a bamboo skewer, needle tool or small diameter knitting needle to use as a sculpting tool. If you have some rubber stamps or texture plates in the theme, bring those too.
Looking Ahead to May
Cindy will be demoing polymer clay jewelry closures.
