May Day! Next Polymer Meeting is May 1
The next virtual meeting of the Tallahassee Polymer Clay Art Guild will take place on Saturday, May 1.
The Zoom meeting will open at 10:30 AM for chit-chat and show & tell.
Our program will start at 11 AM Eastern.
May Program
Nancy will be demonstrating a translucent overlay bead technique inspired by Donna Kato’s book, The Art of Polymer Clay Millefiori Techniques. Nancy will show us how to use this technique on flower pots, but you are welcome to make a bead or whatever strikes your fancy.
If you want to follow along, you will need one or more of the following canes:
- Snail
- Skinner blend stripe
- Translucent dot and/or jelly roll
- Black & white stripe
You’ll also need some plain translucent clay, a sharp blade, and something with which to smooth the clay layers.
